How Gleinridge Consulting collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.
Last updated: 12 September 2026
1. Who we are
Gleinridge Consulting provides higher education, professional education and institutional collaboration services. For the purposes of UK data protection law, Gleinridge Consulting is responsible for deciding how personal information submitted through this website and our enquiry processes is used.
For privacy or data protection enquiries, contact us at admin.gleinridge@gmail.com.
2. Information we may collect
When you make an enquiry, we may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone or messaging contact details, country of residence, academic background, qualifications, programme interests, professional experience and any other information you choose to include in your enquiry.
If you progress with an application or programme, we may receive additional information that is reasonably necessary to assess eligibility, support an application or communicate with an education provider.
3. How we collect information
We collect personal information directly from you when you complete an enquiry form, contact us by email or otherwise communicate with us. Our website currently uses Google Forms to receive enquiries, which means information submitted through the form is processed using Google's services.
4. Why we use your information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and provide course or progression guidance;
- assess which study routes may be relevant to your qualifications and goals;
- support applications, admissions or progression where you ask us to do so;
- communicate with colleges, universities, awarding bodies or other education partners where this is relevant to your enquiry;
- provide professional education or institutional collaboration services;
- maintain appropriate administrative records; and
- meet legal, regulatory or compliance obligations where applicable.
5. Our lawful basis for processing
The lawful basis depends on the purpose for which the information is being used. We may process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, to perform an agreement with you, to comply with a legal obligation, or where we have a legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and providing our education-related services and that interest is not overridden by your rights.
Where consent is specifically required for a particular use of information, we will ask for it separately.
6. Sharing your information
Where appropriate to your enquiry, we may share relevant personal information with colleges, universities, awarding bodies or other education partners so that eligibility can be considered, suitable programmes can be identified, or an application or progression route can be supported.
We may also use service providers that help us operate our website, communications or enquiry processes. This includes Google in connection with Google Forms and related services. We only intend to share information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose.
We do not sell personal information.
7. International transfers
Some service providers or education partners may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that an appropriate data protection mechanism or safeguard applies where required by law.
8. How long we keep information
We retain enquiry information only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, support your application or progression, and maintain appropriate administrative records.
Where an individual proceeds to enrolment, relevant information may be retained for the duration of the course or programme, subject to any additional legal, contractual or regulatory retention requirements. Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
9. Keeping information secure
We take reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we aim to use appropriate safeguards for the information we hold.
10. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to request access to your personal information, ask for inaccurate information to be corrected, request erasure, request restriction of processing, object to certain processing, or request transfer of information in a portable format. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent.
These rights are not absolute in every situation. We may need to retain certain information where a legal or regulatory reason requires us to do so.
11. How to make a data request
To exercise a data protection right or ask how your information is being used, email admin.gleinridge@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
12. Complaints
If you have concerns about how we handle your personal information, please contact us first so that we can try to resolve the issue. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the independent regulator for data protection in the United Kingdom.
13. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time to reflect changes in our services, systems or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
